ABOUT US

Phillips-Tuftex was established in Nuneaton during the early 1880's with Alfred William Phillips producing the first hand stitched tennis ball in the world. During the First World War production included hand stitched footballs and rugby balls, many of which were supplied to the army. The Tuftex trademark was established in 1914 and sports equipment was introduced to compliment the range.

We have expanded our range of sports and activity goods and also offer a comprehensive choice of accessories, fitness equipment, special kit packages and sensory equipment.

When selecting our range we endeavour to include items for adults and children of all age groups and capabilities in the hope of encouraging sports and team activities for all.
